current novel genre: Fantasy/Coming of age
current novel summary: The night after Jen's father finally succumbs to the illness, she finds a hole between worlds beneath her bed, which takes her to a land where her knitting can create works of magic, and so can many other things. When a young painter with magical tattoos saves her from a dark horseman they decide to join forces to help fight off the men chasing her and the sinister carving bandits to get her back home. But does she want to go?
