We're based on National Novel Writing Month, a writing competition in which people from all over the world try to write a fifty-thousand word novel in the month of November.
Seeing as NaNoWriMo is over for this year, Dragon Yoga has come up with the brilliant idea of doing six novels the NaNo way next year. Starting in January we will write to meet our goals - whether than be 2k, 50k or 100k. We will take a month off to regain our sanity, then take it up again in March, May, July, September, and November. We welcome anyone willing to give 6Mo, 6No a shot. Even if you can't commit to all six months.
We differ from NaNoWriMo in the guidelines department. While we will abide by their rules come November, you are free to do as you wish the other five writing months. Fan fics, memoirs, scripts and so on can be written. You don't have to go for the the 50k, and feel free to use a piece of work that you already started. Most importantly, have fun.
Happy writing, 6Mo, 6No Staff
