Me again.
January 15th, 2010
And so begins week three... Does anyone else think this month has gone by really fast?
War Games[/u][/center]
I've made the first post in what I hope to be my weekly word wars thread. My first war is happening this Sunday if anyone is interested in joining me. And the second one is on Monday. Feel to join mine or start your own.
Also, I'm planning on posting some more challenges this week. I don't want to say anything until they're all worked out, but I thought I'd get us started by posting a team sign-up thread. If you'd like to be a part of the challenges, sign up here.
Sometime this weekend I'm going to be adding some new layouts, so keep watch for that. I'm still looking for people to help me with those, if anyone wants to give it a shot.
I've posted a graphics shop for anyone who still needs book covers or signature banners made.
And I'd just like to remind everyone to keep updating their word counts in their profiles and word logs. And to backup their story files.
Lately I've been enjoying reading from other authors, professional or not, and learning from their techniques. So I thought maybe it would help others. Here's a list of authors and their blogs. My personal favorite, not on the list, is Maureen Johnson's.
Lastly, I'd like to remind everyone to get their friends in on this challenge, and advertise when they have the time. I'd also like to thank Debbi, who I've seen spreading the word on the NaNoWriMo forums. =)
