Anyone think of doing something like this during the months of writing?
I have 3 November Nano's that used the same characters, different plots. In fact, I never even looked at the old novels because they were bad... however, the last one was pretty good, I didn't finish it, but it wasn't too bad. That could be a complete rewrite. And if I can't get it off my old laptop (have no idea where the flash stick is) then I would have to completely start over. I know I have the character sketches in some journal or notebook, so I think I'd be okay there.
But this might be an idea to get those 6 novels in and then use off months to revise this novel.

Yes, I have the same problem, but this story came out better because I let the characters lead instead of over thinking things. I have a 3 foot stack of stories on my bookshelf, that are mostly terrible but have some redeming qualities some where. Also folders of worldbuilding, including races, religions, history, magic, traditions, places, important people, wars, plauges, ect. I just need to sit down and pull what I need for the other stoyies to round out the NaNo I've got now. It kinda scares me that I've created so much but have only one real draft so far.

I think it's cool that you created all those things. Creating worlds, races, religions, etc., is a great talent. that's what makes the stories more real. I like that in novels. After I wrote this I found my little notebook with some of the idea of the rewrite I would like to do and it started coming bak. It seems like a very possible story. Hmm.
