It's time to play a game of Truth or Dare with your characters. They have chosen Dare over Truth, now you have to find a Dare. Take a Dare, Leave a Dare, this is the Dare Thread Fantasy Edition. Let's get together and think of fantastic dares to use this year.
For those new to NaNoDares post a Dare like this:
Dare = The dare itself. BP = Bonus Points: An extra idea for the dare. DBP = Double Bonus Points: Going beyond the dare itself TBP = Triple Bonus Points: Going above and beyond the dare QBP = Quadruple Bonus Points: Taking the dare to the point of utter insanity
And now, let the DARES begin -
Dare- Have your characters go on a huge quest for a magical object BP- the quest is a sub plot, not the main plot TBP- if the object turns out to be useless because all it does is make cheese QBP- if it is actually useful because it makes cheese Cookies- if the object really helps save the day by making cheese

Dare: A major or main character is transformed into a cat. BP: It is not particularly important to the plot that the character is now a cat. TPB: No one notices that the character is a cat. QPB: The transformation / that the character is a cat serves as the/a key to the plot. Cookies: The character is seen almost entirely in the flashbacks of people who didn't notice the character was a cat / when the heroes find out that the character is a cat they can't see why it's important.
@Elizabeth Sabourin -- I might have to take that whole dare and make it a subplot for either Contains No Basil or a spinoff, it's very much a thing Kandrin would do (he's not the, er, brightest candle in the menorah).

Oh C! You have no idea! I actually already had a story idea a while back where vampires were cursed and are generally stuck in animal forms and the main character actually is a cat when you first meet him! So I could take the dare, but no other part of it XD!
